Ericka Roe stars as ‘Stacey’ and Denise McCormack plays ‘Stacey’s Ma’ in Rachel Carey’s feature film “DEADLY CUTS” has been selected for the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) which will be online from 8-18 April..

This follows its world premiere as the closing film at this year’s Dublin International Film Festival (DIFF) on March 14th.

Wildcard Distribution has acquired UK and Ireland rights to the film.

Deadly Cuts is produced by Auveen Lush, Ciara Appelbe and Liz Gill of Dubln-based O Sullivan Productions, which did the deal directly with WIldcard. The film is the directorial debut of Carey and is about a working-class Dublin hair salon where the stylists become accidental vigilantes and community heroes, Angeline Ball, Ericka Roe, Lauren Larkin, Shauna Higgins and Victoria Smurfit star. The film was backed by Screen Ireland.
