GEORGE HANOVER

George is a native of Cork, she is based there.

In post-production is Colman Hayes’s short film “WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN” in which George plays the lead female role of ‘Clara’.

Her screen credits also include the lead role of ‘Meg Daly’ in the feature film “THE RANDOMER”, the role of psychiatrist “Lorraine Butler” in Shaun O’Connor’s multi-awarding winning short film “DISAPPEAR”, the supporting role of ‘Ellen’ in Niall Owens new feature film “GATE WAY”, ‘Grainne’ in Shaun O’Connor’s new IFB Funded short film “MARY”, the lead role of ‘Victoria’ in Enrique Carnicer’s short film “SHOT-HIT-SPANK”, and the recurring role of ‘Fiona’ in Mark Cogan’s trilogy of short films “THE HANDSOME SHADOWS”.

Theatre credits include ‘The Wicked Witch of The West’ in “THE WIZARD OF OZ” directed by Wayne Jordan (Cork Opera House), ‘Ida Levin’ in Aideen Wylde’s play “LEVIN & LEVIN” (DFF Project Arts Centre), ‘The Devil’ in “NEON WESTERN” (Samuel Beckett Theatre DFF), ‘Violet’ in Stacey Gregg’s 2-hander play “OVERRIDE” (Project Arts Centre), and ‘Vera’ in The Everyman’s staging of Frank McGuinness’s play “THE FACTORY GIRLS”.
