JED MURRAY

Jed is a native Dublin actor, based in Dublin. He is 6’ 2’’ (188cm) tall.

Having being cast in the pilot episode which was filmed in Troy Studios, Limerick, this month sees Jed reprise his role of ‘Rawhead’ in Arrowstorm Entertainment’s fantasy TV series “THE WAYFINDERS” which is currently filming in Limerick. Directed by Glen Winter and produced by Stephen Hall and Michael Jones, it stars Mackenzie Crook, Ollie Ryan, Wes Chatham, Andrew Liner and Issy Knopfler.

Jed is also cast in Spellmaker Productions’ feature film “KUNG FU DEADLY” (post-production) directed by Fergal Costello, the television series “THE WALSH SISTERS” (post-production) directed by Ian Fitzgibbon, and Wave Walkers new film “HORSESHOE” directed by Edwin Mullane.

Jed’s theatre credits include Jack Harte’s play “THE SAILORS DREAM”, Donagh Humphrey’s play “BECOMING MAGGIE” and Dave Quinn’s play “A MODEST PROPOSAL” which were all directed by Andy Crook and ran in The New Theatre in Dublin’s Templebar, Corps Ensemble’s staging of Stewart Roche’s “A CHRISTMAS VISIT” (Bewley’s Cafe Theatre), the title role in Shakespeare’s “KING LEAR” directed by Geoff O’Keffee, and “HAMLET” directed by Katie O’Halloran which both ran in The Mill Theatre, Dundrum.

His screen credits also include the feature film “SPILT MILK” (DIFF 2025) directed by Brian Durnin, ‘EXTRA ORDINARY’ directed by Mike Ahern & Enda Loughman, HBO’s ‘GAME OF THRONES’, ABC’s ‘ QUANTICO’, and RTE Television’s hit series ’LOVE HATE’.

As a member of the ‘The Corps Ensemble’ theatre company, and a Clown Doctor with the charity Aoife’s Clown Doctors Jed regularly perform in both Crumlin and Temple Street Hospitals in Dublin.
