JOANNE BRACKEN
Joanne is an Irish actor from Co. Tipperary, she is 5′ 6″ (168cm) tall and can be considered Dublin based.
Screen credits include Dan O’Neill’s short film “TELL HER IN THE SUNSHINE” (post-production), the role of ‘Kate’ in Croí Burrowes new short film “CRAYONS” (post-production), the supporting role of ‘Anno’ in the feature film “TRAD” written and directed by Lance Daly, the roles of ‘Áine’ in The Fools Productions short film “A QUARE RACKET” (Foyle FF), ‘Pat’ in the short film “KISS KISS, FANG FANG” directed by Croí Burrowes, and ‘Helen’ in the short film “THE ADOPTION” directed by Kevin De La Isla O’Neill (GSA).
Stage credits include the principal role of ‘Síle’ in the immersive theatre piece “THE LOCAL” as part of Kilkenny Arts Festival written by Clare Monnelly, Medb Lambert and Emma O’Grady, directed by Dónal Gallagher (Asylum Productions and Once Off Productions). She performed as the ‘Messenger’ in “ANTIGONE” directed by Evasia Koutoulaki (Oasis Theatre Company). Joanne played ‘Sue’ and ‘Catherine’ in her GSA Graduation Showcase “STRANGE DAYS” at Smock Alley Theatre written by Lee Coffey and directed by Tracy Ryan. She played the lead role of ‘Antonio’ in “THE MERCHANT OF VENICE” directed by Liam Halligan (GSA), Joanne also performed as ‘Tosh” in “SCENES WITH GIRLS” directed by Paul Brennan (GSA) and the lead role of ‘April’ in “APRIL BRIGHT” directed by Eric Weitz (GSA)
Having previously completed the 2-Year Full-Time Professional Actor Training at The Gaiety School of Acting, Joanne recently graduated for the 1-Year Full-Time Program at Bow Street Academy.
Joanne is an avid horse-rider following 15 years of experience, having also worked at Nenagh Equestrian Centre handling horses and teaching.
