MEGHAN REID

Meghan is an Irish actor from Donegal in the North West of Ireland, she lives in Dublin.

She is currently in rehearsals to perform in “I WOULDN’T MIND CONTROL”, a new play by David Monaghan. The show will run as part of the Scene and Heard festival in the Smock Alley Main Space on the 22nd and 23rd February.

Last year Meghan had the great experience of playing ‘Ellen Clarke’ in the English Theatre-Dusseldorf’s production of Jaki McCarrick’s “BELFAST GIRLS”, as part the Zeitgeist Irland in Dusseldorf.

Previous to this, Meghan performed as ‘Ophellia’ in the Gaiety School of Acting’s staging of Shakespeare’s “HAMLET” which ran for several weeks in Smock Alley and also in the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone, Co. Westmeath.

Further credits also include “PITCHFORK DISNEY” (‘Presely’) directed by Maureen White, “RICHARD III” (‘Queen Elizabeth’) directed by Liam Halligan, and “THE SEAGULL” (‘Hugo’) directed by Maureen White.

Meghan’s screen credits include Mary Tiernan in the Element production studios and Gallagher Films feature film ‘A BUMP ALONG THE WAY’, directed by Shelly Love, ‘Bernie’ in ‘CUBICLE’ directed by Graham Cantwell and ‘Meabh’ in ‘BORN TO IT’ directed by Amy-Joyce Hastings.

Meghan is a graduate of The Gaiety School of Acting’s two-year professional actor’s training program.
