NIAMH MCPHILLIPS

Niamh is originally from Co. Monaghan. She lives in Dublin and is 5′ 5″ tall (165cm).

She recently collaborated on CoisCéim Broadreach’s project: BUILDING SPACES OF POSSIBILITY which saw her work with choreographer Muirne Bloomer and perform as part of  Science Week 2021 in various locations culminating at Science Gallery Dublin. Niamh will also take part in Noise Moves’ Emergence 2022 programme, where young dancers/choreographers will devise and perform a piece in The Civic Theatre’s ‘Rua Red’ in April 2022.

Screen acting wise she is cast to play ‘Kelly’ in the short film “PILE UP” (post-production). It’s written by Joshua Donoghue and will be directed by Ethan Donoghue.

This year saw Niamh graduate from the TU Dublin Conservatoire Of Music and Drama’s with a BA in Drama (Performance). While studying there she performed in several productions. Her final year production was Carly Churchill’s play of ‘LOVE AND INFORMATION’ directed by Ronan Phelan which was livestreamed.
Outside of college Niamh has worked in several different forms of drama such as Dance, Audio and Opera. She is an alumni of the Monaghan Youth Theatre where her love for the craft of acting began.
