PAUL SHEEHAN
Paul is an Irish actor based in Dublin and is 6’3” (191cm) tall.
Onstage, Paul most recently presented his madcap multicultural road comedy SACRED OLD COW, which ran in Dublin’s Smock Alley Theatre as part of the Scene & Heard Festival. He was awarded Best Male Lead Performance at the Green Room Awards 2023 for his portrayal of ‘Garry Essendine’ in Nöel Coward’s PRESENT LAUGHTER.
Paul has performed with international theatre companies, including Romeo Castellucci’s BROS with Societas Raffaella Sanzo (Dublin Theatre Festival), and the bilingual-play THE EMPRESS OF CHINA with Hong Kong Repertory Theatre which ran in The City Hall in Hong Kong.
He made his Off-Broadway debut in New York at the Snapple Theatre playing the lead role of ‘Andrew’ in MY BIG GAY ITALIAN MIDLIFE CRISIS directed by Anthony Wilkinson.
He played ‘Liam’ in the Asian Premiere of Dennis Kelly’s ORPHANS directed by Ahmed Letalfig, ‘Phoebus’ in the Irish premiere of the Musical THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME directed by Jack Riordan, and he has performed with LOOM Theatre in their production of THIS IS YOU (DFF) directed by Aideen Fox.
Onscreen, Paul is playing the lead role of Robbie in the Irish horror comedy feature DELETE THE DEAD, which is currently in production. He plays supporting roles in Park Films’ TV series THE VANISHING TRIANGLE, directed by Imogen Murphy and Lara Way, and in the UK-produced short film THE KITCHEN directed by Toby Meakins.
