PAUL SHEEHAN

Paul is an Irish actor based in Dublin and is 6’3” (191cm) tall.

Early on, he made the choice to travel and perform, honing his craft in London, Edinburgh, Hong Kong, Taiwan and New York, citing the desire to experience different techniques and cultures along the way.

Onscreen, Paul is playing the lead role of Robbie in the Irish horror comedy sequel, Delete The Dead, currently in production. He can be seen opposite Allen Leech in Park Films TV series The Vanishing Triangle directed by Imogen Murphy and also worked his culinary chops in the UK-produced The Kitchen, directed by Toby Meakins.

Onstage, Paul recently produced his madcap multicultural road comedy, ‘Sacred Old Cow’, at Smock Alley Theatre Dublin, as part of the Scene & Heard Festival. He collaborated with LOOM Theatre for Dublin Fringe in This Is You, with reviews from the Irish Times and online stating he was ‘impressive as the volatile father figure.’ Paul  was awarded Best Male Lead Performance for his portraya of Garry Essendine in Nöel Coward’s Present Laughter at the Green Room Awards 2023 (Waterford Star/ Munster Express).’Commanding, witty, spontaneous, funny, conniving and elusive, Sheehan’s Essendine is an amalgam of many of Coward’s character roles.’

Further credits include BROS with Societas Raffaella Sanzo, directed by Romeo Castellucci, Phoebus in the Irish Premiere of The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, part of An Faoin Spéir (Irish Arts Council).Abroad, he made his Off-Broadway debut in the lead role of Andrew in My Big Gay Italian Midlife Crisis and portrayed the role of Liam in the Asian Premiere of Dennis Kelly’s Orphans.
