
ROSS FITZPATRICK
Ross is 6′ (183cm) tall and is based in Dublin.
Ross is currently assisting Artistic Director at The Lyric, Jimmy Fay, direct Gary Mitchell’s play “BURNT OUT” which will run from October 7th to November 5th as part of this year’s Belfast International Arts Festival. Prior to this Ross assisted director Emma Jordan in directing the critically acclaimed revival of Martin McDonagh’s THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE which also ran in The Lyric.
Earlier this year saw Ross play ‘Romeo’ in Mill Productions staging of Shakespeare’s “ROMEO & JULIET” directed by Geoff O’Keeffe which ran in Dublin’s Mill Theatre, Dundrum. Prior to this he performed in Mill Productions Christmas show “LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD” (Various Roles), “MACBETH” (Witch, Captain, Fleance, Young Siward), and “ROMEO & JULIET’ (‘Tybalt’. Last year saw Ross return to his alma mater as a ‘Swing’ in their epic production of Julius Caesar directed by Aoife Spillane-Hinks. The production ran in the TUD Blackbox Theatre, Grangegorman.
His musical stage credits include ‘James’ in CHROMATICS directed by Andrew Keats (Arion Productions), ‘Beast’ in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST directed by Ger Pender (GTD Productions). Ross’s stage credits while training in TU Conservatoire Dublin include ‘Romeo’ in ROMEO & JULIET directed by Miriam O’Meara, ‘Arlecchino’ in COMMEDIA MARKETPLACE directed Michael McCabe, GRIMM TALES directed by Michael McCabe, ‘Narrator/Ferdia’ in AN TÁIN (IRISH FOLKLORE) directed by Miriam O’Meara, and ‘Bill’ in THE PANEL directed by Bairbre Ní Chaoimh.
Screen credits include the Irish language short film FAITÍOS (The First Fear) directed by Martha Fitzgerald and the short film WIRED directed by Ruairi O’Hoisin.
Ross is a graduate of the TU Dublin Conservatoire Of Music and Drama with a BA in Drama (Performance).
