Siobhan Callaghan


Siobhán is one of many actors involved in The Abbey Theatre’s Home: Part One which is available to watch on The Abbey Theatre’s YouTube Channel. Home: Part One is a direct response to the report on Mother and Baby Homes, focusing on the testimonies of survivors.

Siobhán is a graduate of The Lir Academy in Dublin, Ireland’s National Academy of Dramatic Art.

Her short film credits include ‘Jill’ in “FAKING IT” directed by Roisín Dunk, ‘Sarah’ in “HOLIDAY HOME” directed by Conor King, ‘Louise’ in “POLAROID” directed by Richard Harvey, and ‘Mags’ in “STREET CAR” directed by Laura Way.

Theatre wise earlier this year saw Siobhán perform in “MADE FROM PAPER” as part of Smock Alley’s Scene & Heard Festival 2020. This followed her performance in the roles of ‘Rebecca Kerr’ in “THE VALLEY OF THE SQUNTING WINDOWS” directed by Michael Scott (Mullingar Arts Centre), and ‘First’ (and other roles) in “KISSING THE WITCH” directed by Andy Crook and Hilary Dziminsk which ran in the Bohemian Theatre in Phibsboro.

Siobhán is a fluent Irish and German speaker.
