MARIA TROPNIKOVA

Maria is a Romanian actress based in Dublin. She is 5’8 (173 cm) tall.

Maria is cast in Aisling Byrne’s short film “TURNAROUND” which is funded by Screen Ireland’s Focus Shorts Scheme. The film will shoot in West Cork in mid-April and is being produced by Killian Coyle for Arcade Film.

Maria is also cast in Fantastic Films short “BREEDERS” which is also funded by Screen Ireland’s Focus Shorts Scheme. The film will be directed by Suri Grennell.

Screen credits include the supporting role of ‘Lucy’ in Portside Pictures short film “LESSONS FROM THE HEART” (post-production), the supporting role of ‘POLINA’ in the feature film “LIFE ON MERCURY” (post-production) directed by Mathieu Constantin and produced by John Kelly of Clap ‘n Load Studios, ‘Masha’ in ‘NOT ALONE’ directed by Alina Aparina (Tooba), ‘The Wife’ in ‘BITCHES 2.0’ directed by Diana Maksimova and Nikita Malkov, and ‘Bar Girl’ in ‘THE GOLF EXPLORERS’ a pilot directed by Jim Kreutzer and David Spitzer (Wind Chill Media Group).

Following her 2-year training at the the Identity School of Acting (IDSA) in London, Maria completed the 6-month Programme for Screen Acting at Bow Street Academy in Dublin.
