SYDNEY BLACKBURN
Sydney is an American actress who lives in Dublin, she is 5′ 5″ (166cm) tall.
Her screen credits include a role in the upcoming Blumhouse feature “SOULM8TE”, the lead role of ‘Kara’ in the upcoming comedy feature “AMERICAN SCHEMERS” directed by Jack C. Newell, the supporting role of ‘Lauren’ in the art feature “THE DECAMERON” directed by Eva Richardson and supported by the Project Arts Centre, and a featured role in “MARRY ME” directed by Kat Coiro and produced by Universal Studios.
Her theatre credits include Zoë Adam’s production of “RAGTIME” (New Rochelle Ensemble) at the Shapiro Theatre, Talked About Theatre Company’s production of “THE ADDAM’S FAMILY” where she understudied the lead role of ‘Wednesday’ as well as performed in the ensemble, and “THE APPLE TREE” (Ensemble) at NYU’s New Studio on Broadway.
She studied Improv extensively at Upright Citizens Brigade in New York and can be seen performing around Ireland in the Musical Improv Group “Bum Notes”. She also performs regularly as part of a house team at MOB Theatre Dublin.
Sydney has a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, an M.Phil in screenwriting from Trinity College Dublin, and studied Irish Theatre at the Gaiety School.
