SHANE CONNELLAN
Originally from Co. Longford Shane lives in Dublin. He is 5′ 9″ (175cms) tall and holds a full driving licence.
He’s cast in a featured supporting role in Ariane Labed’s feature-directing debut “SEPTEMBER SAYS” (post-production), an English-language adaptation of Daisy Johnson’s gothic novel “SISTERS”. The film is produced by Element Picturesand BBC, and stars Rakhee Thakrar.
Shane stars in his short film “ME AND DAD” in which he co-leads with Pat Shortt and Flynn Gray.
“NAR-SIS”, a one take short in which he leads, is currently on its festival run. (See clip below). His short “BULLY”, which he wrote, directed and stars in won him a couple of best actor awards on it’s festival run.
Shane’s screen credits also include Universal Pictures feature “COCAINE BEAR” directed by Elizabeth Banks, the short “BWOKE” directed by Alan Rogers, the feature film “HILL WALKERS” directed by Tom Cosgrove, the short film “THESPISH” directed by Maureen O’Connell, and the Feature Film “Spa Weekend” also directed by Maureen O’Connell.
